Last-minute adventures~

When I realized that there was only a month left until the completion of my education abroad, a chord of sadness resonated within me. Time seemed to be passing at the speed of light, and suddenly I realized that, despite all my achievements, the feeling that I had just begun this journey was incredibly strong. This place had become my home, and now the time had come to say goodbye.

However, I decided that the last month should not be a moment of melancholy and despair. Instead, I decided to fill each day with experiences, leaving without regrets.

My first step in this direction was spontaneous adventures. They didn’t necessarily have to be distant trips; sometimes, simple city hikes with friends were enough. So, I joined the university’s “Get Out, Get Active” club’s trip, and our choice fell on the Haworth Village, just 50 minutes away by bus from the University of Leeds.

Although I had never been a fan of mountain walks, this experience left an indelible impression on me. The nature of Haworth seemed to transport me to another world. Waterfalls, pastoral meadows, cute sheep, and forests created a unique picture. Strolling there, I felt like the heroine of some magical fairy tale. The atmosphere of this place was simply enchanting, with beautiful cafes and cozy shops. Street musicians filled the air with melodies, and dogs strolled calmly along the streets with their owners.

Returning from Haworth, I realized how important it is to openly embrace the opportunities that life presents. My next step was to engage in activities that I had previously been hesitant to try. I joined a university’s coffee club, and participating in the events became a real challenge for me. But the intense emotions, new friendships, and the sense of personal growth made this adventure unforgettable.

Every day turned into an exciting journey. I decided to visit places that had previously seemed ordinary to me. Strolls in the park, visits to local museums, dinners at undiscovered restaurants—all of this became part of my plan to fill the remaining time. I discovered new aspects of the city that had become my temporary home, giving my routine a fresh perspective.

Thus, the last month became a time of discoveries and adventures. Instead of thinking about the passing time, I filled my life with vibrant moments that would become part of my personal history. The time abroad became not only a period of learning but also a period of self-discovery, expanding horizons, and creating memories that will accompany me throughout my life.
