And That’s a Wrap

Well, if you say I have attachment issues because I love London so much and I am more than sad that I had to leave that place – that would be fair.

I am finally back home after so long and I couldn’t be more excited to spend the next one month here but a part of me wants to fly back to London after this. That place has offered me so much. The sights I got to see, the things I got to do, the places I have been – the list never ends. The entire city of London is already lit up for Christmas and I can’t imagine how beautiful London will look during Christmas.

And on top of this, more importantly the people. I feel for everyone I have met at London, is the reason I want to go back there as soon as I can. Well, to be fair I have known them for only three months but everyone I had met was so nice and had so much to offer. “I will miss them” would really not do justice to what I am feeling.

Saying that, I am also very much looking forward to the next part of this journey. I hope I get to visit more places like London that I love so much. As I was sitting on the plane for 12 hours to fly back, I realized that as a student, the only possible way for me to travel around is through study abroad programs like this or through internships – since I had such a good experience with London, I am highly motivated to keep doing this.

Hence, since this my last blog post, I would like to thank Drexel and especially the Study Abroad department for providing me this opportunity and supporting me through out these past three months. Secondly, I would like to thank the FIE team for also being with me at every step at London and special thanks to all the FIE team members who heard my rant endlessly without any questions, whenever I asked them t. But jokes aside, I truly had the best experience here in London and I will miss everything about it. But not a whole lot because I will definitely try to come back as soon as I can!

A Message from the Office of Global Engagement:

The safety and security of Drexel students is a priority for the University. As part of the efforts to support Drexel students that are studying abroad during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Office of Global Engagement has conducted a rigorous review of programming and provided additional support to participating students with customized pre-departure orientations and regular check-ins during the required self-isolation period and the term.
