As a foodie, going to a different country I couldn’t wait to explore all of the different restaurants and fast foods that I wasn’t able to acquire in the United States.
Tibet Kitchen
In Ely’s Yard of Brick Lane in East London there’s a little square of about 6 food trucks. There are a ton of options; American, coffee, sandwiches, French fries, buffalo wings, etc. But what I got the day I visited was by far the best choice. Tibet Kitchen is an Asian-style food truck that specializes in steamed dumplings. I ordered the Tofu Chili Combo, which was a stir-fried noodle entrée with sweet chili sauce, fried tofu, and 3 chicken dumplings on top. My favorite part was when they asked which toppings I would like because each customer is granted an unlimited choice. I got pickled cabbage, crispy fried onions, green scallions, and sesame seeds. The American in me had to get a can of coke as well LOL! This dish was absolutely delicious and stunning in the photo. I highly recommend this joint if you want an inexpensive and filling meal!

Seven Dials Market: Chai Guys & Yum Bun
Seven Dials Market is located in Covent Garden and has various options for quick dining, deserts, and drinks! Yum Bun is on the bottom floor of Seven Dials and serves Vietnamese cuisine with a Japanese twist. Their stars being the bao buns I just had to try their fried chicken bun! I got that with a side of their fried vegetable gyozas which were so yummy. Afterward, I headed upstairs to find Chai Guys! I love all types of iced chai drinks so I order their iced Masala chai. Most cafes have chai but nothing like Chai Guys’, you can really taste the spice in their drinks that’s incomparable to other cafes!

The Breakfast Club
The Breakfast Club has multiple locations all over London but me and a couple of friends went to one of the two locations they have in Soho! I mentioned before that I love chai drinks so I had to get their pink chai that intrigued me so much when I first read it on the menu. My friend tagged along and we both loved this drink. For my meal, I got the spicy chickpea florentine with a side of their breakfast potatoes YUM!

Osteria Mbare
Osteria Mbare is an elevated rustic italian restuarant. I went with a good friend to have a bite of pasta! We started with focaccia bread and burrata and my entree was their beef ragu linguine, absolutely delcious. However, the star of this whole dining experience was the desert. We both got their chocolate lava cakes and they were easily the best chocolate cake I’ve ever tasted!
