Beginning my day as a student at the University of Leeds is an early-morning adventure, with my alarm clock ringing at 6 am. Waking up early has become a habit, allowing me to tackle assignments and indulge in some reading before the whirlwind of classes commences. The first order of business is a quick wash, followed by a laid-back breakfast that provides the perfect setting to dive into my studies.
Mondays and Fridays often offer a break from structured classes, granting me the freedom to set my own academic pace. On other days, my classes kick off around 10 in the morning, initiating a day filled with intellectual exploration. During breaks between lectures, I find comfort in the warm ambiance of the “Cafe Nero” coffee shop, conveniently scattered across the campus. This coffee haven, with its branches even nestled within the library, becomes my refuge, especially after the challenges of the morning class.
The library is not just for books; it’s a cool place where I can study, take aesthetic photos, and catch up on readings. Classes usually wrap up by 5 pm. Heading home marks the shift from studies to home life. Dinner is on the horizon, and while I’m not a fan of complicated cooking, sometimes I crave a homemade meal. So, I use my mom’s recipes for those occasions. After dinner, it’s time to relax and unwind.
