Hey there, fellow food enthusiasts! Today, I’m excited to take you on a gastronomic tour through my experiences here at Drexel University and beyond. From the vibrant streets of Philadelphia to the bustling avenues of Washington D.C., I’ve had the pleasure of indulging in a diverse array of culinary delights.
Let’s begin our culinary adventure with a visit to the renowned Reading Terminal Market, a bustling hub of culinary diversity where flavors from around the world come together in a vibrant tapestry of taste. From savory to sweet, the market offers a selection of gastronomic treasures that will satisfy even the most difficult palate.

Next on our journey, we delve into the rich flavors of Turkish cuisine at a local eatery. Here, I had the pleasure of savoring a hearty plate of chicken kebab served with fragrant rice, crisp salad, and a comforting bowl of chickpea soup. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, perfectly balanced and deeply satisfying.

Of course, no culinary exploration would be complete without indulging in a classic American breakfast. From the indulgent sweetness of French Toast to the comforting warmth of 3 Leches Pancakes, accompanied by the savory goodness of fried eggs, bacon, and smashed potatoes, it was a breakfast feast fit for a king.

For a taste of American fast-food culture, I had to try Shake Shack, where I sampled their famed burgers and crispy fries. The quality and flavor of each bite were truly exceptional, especially for me, a burger lover.

Switching to something lighter yet equally delicious, I enjoyed a refreshing poke bowl filled with spicy salmon, tender chicken, crisp onion, sweet mango, and more. It was a perfect combination of fresh ingredients which made me feel healthy and satisfied.

An American culinary journey would not be completed without experiencing the tradition of brunch. At Sabrina’s Café, I had brunch with my friends, with dishes that ranged from savory to sweet. However, it was so late that I ended up having a full lunch!

As we near the end of our culinary adventure, I couldn’t resist indulging in some comforting Italian cuisine. A visit to a cozy Italian restaurant in the heart of Philly treated me to a heavenly plate of spaghetti carbonara, rich with the flavors of creamy sauce and crispy bacon.

Finally, I concluded my week with a culinary favorite from across the globe – sushi. At Tomo Sushi, I sampled a selection of sushi pieces, each one a masterpiece of flavor and texture.

And so, concludes our culinary journey through Drexel and beyond. From Turkish delights to American classics and everything in between, it’s been a week filled with unforgettable flavors and delicious discoveries. Until next time and bon appétit!
